About this Educator

I am a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women's Health Care with 20 years of Obstetric and Gynecology experience. I am also the founder of Sweet Pea Childbirth Preparation. I am a Certified Childbirth Educator through PCE with advanced training in Infant Sleep. Some of my work has included teaching private and group childbirth education for expectant families and working as a registered nurse in the labor and delivery unit at Georgetown University Hospital and providing prenatal care for 10 years in private practice. One of my passions is in helping women to deliver in their desired way and teaching them how to care for themselves and their new babies.
